Committee
FIFAR has an experienced committee with many years of football in their blood.
CAndrew Quigley
Chairman, FIFAR and Risborough Rangers JFC
Started playing with Risborough Rangers back in 1974, when my first manager was the founder of Risborough Rangers, Tony Elsey. Derek Wallace was then our manager for many years, where we had success in the Aylesbury leagues and were the first Risborough team to win the Junior Berks and Bucks trophy, then gaining promotion into the South Midlands League.
I’m now helping to run an age group within the junior football club, which has around 500 boys and girls from the age of 6–16 playing football in and around Risborough every weekend.
FIFAR is not only a vehicle to help raise needed money but also a great way of getting back in touch with people who you played football with or grew up with. We hope to have one or two events a year where we can all meet up and reminisce.
